Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026 · Applies to all Vice Discord bots (including Vice Music, Vice Games, Vice Destiny, and future apps under the same operator)

1. Who we are

This policy describes how the Vice team (“we”) processes data when you use our Discord bots and apps (each a “Bot”), including Vice Music, Vice Games, Vice Destiny, and future Services we operate. Contact: yenediscord@gmail.com.

2. Data we process

Depending on the Bot and server configuration, we may process:

  • Discord identifiers — guild ID, channel ID, role ID, user ID (when needed for a command, setting, queue, or moderation feature).
  • Bot configuration — preferences such as language, volume, DJ roles, alert channels, tracked stores, feature toggles, and similar settings.
  • Operational state — for music bots: queue metadata, voice channel association, playback options; for games bots: feed / delivery state needed to send alerts; for Destiny: career progress, scores, badges, and duel state tied to your Discord user ID.
  • Command content — text entered in slash commands or interactions (e.g. search queries, filters), for as long as needed to process the request.
  • Technical logs — timestamps, error codes, and execution metadata to diagnose incidents (without generally storing channel message content).

We do not ask for Discord passwords, banking data, or identity documents.

3. Purposes

  • provide Bot features (music playback, alerts, settings, etc.);
  • remember configuration chosen by administrators or users;
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix bugs;
  • respond to support requests.

4. Legal basis

Depending on your situation, processing is based on performing the requested service (using a Bot), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Services, and/or your consent when the law requires it.

5. Retention

Configuration and operational data are kept while a Bot remains on the server (or until deletion at your request). Technical logs are kept for a limited time (typically a few weeks), unless a longer period is needed for a security incident. After a Bot is removed, related data may be deleted during cleanup cycles.

6. Recipients and processors

Data may be hosted by infrastructure providers (Bot host, database, cache) acting on our instructions. Discord receives interactions you send through its API as part of normal bot use. Audio or catalog providers may receive technical requests required for playback or lookups. We do not sell your data.

7. Transfers

Depending on hosting, data may be processed outside your country of residence. In that case, we seek appropriate safeguards when regulations require them.

8. Security

We apply reasonable measures (access control, logs, limited Discord permissions) to protect data. No system is completely secure.

9. Your rights

Under applicable law (including GDPR for the EEA), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact yenediscord@gmail.com with your Discord ID and the relevant server / Bot. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France: CNIL).

10. Minors

The Bots are intended for users allowed to use Discord. We do not knowingly collect data from children beyond what Discord’s framework requires.

11. Third-party links

Bots may link to third-party sites or services (Discord, music platforms, game stores, radio streams, etc.). Their privacy policies apply once you leave our Services.

12. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Continued use of a Bot after publication means you acknowledge the updated version.
